At a high level, SaaS is a type of cloud service model. SaaS solutions reside in cloud environments (which are managed by a dedicated cloud vendor) and are often integrated with other software offerings from the same SaaS solution provider. Well-designed SaaS architecture must be able to scale and accommodate hundreds or even thousands of users who will be accessing the software simultaneously over the cloud or the web.
In addition, because the software is delivered over cloud-based architecture, telecom companies do not need to download upgrades or reinstall new versions of a product. Any updates or patches to a service are handled by the SaaS provider.
Telecom Software as a Service (SaaS) offers a new vehicle for the industry to meet these needs. SaaS allows telecommunications companies to access the latest software and technologies without the need for large capital investments or extensive in-house IT resources. This means that they can quickly and easily adapt to new developments, such as 5G, IoT, and edge computing, and offer new and improved services to their customers.
To fully seize the 5G opportunity, communication service providers need to shorten Time-to-Value for software they use to manage their business, IT, and network. At the same time, the expectation to achieve a lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) will continue.
Nokia Core SaaS provides CSPs and enterprises the option of running the heart of their network through a highly flexible, fully automated, scalable software model that enables greater business agility and faster time to value for delivering and monetizing network services. CSPs and enterprises can consume core software on-demand through a more cost-effective subscription service that eliminates large up-front capital expenditure and avoids the need to perform on-site software maintenance and updates.

List of Nokia software, listed alphabetically with photos when available. If you're involved in the world of computers than this list of software developed by Nokia might come in handy, especially if you're looking for new programs to utilize at your job. Software developed by Nokia includes almost all Nokia programs and applications. Some of this popular Nokia software may cost money to acquire, but a lot of this software can be downloaded for free legally. List contains items like KHTML and Nokia Multiscanner.
Hard reset or factory reset cannot be compared with the old fashion Nokia programs like Nokia Suite. To the best of my knowledge only account and other personal (installed) data are removed. The software/firmware as a whole remains untouched. That software is not visible on the PC and the size is about 3 GB. When HMD in their "wishdom" does not give their customers the tools to really flash the firmware, it will be a deal breaker for me. I planned to buy a Nokia 8 or may be 9, but I rather wait and see.
Hi user625, Any alteration in the firmware of a PC or a cell phone can end up in a disaster. Knowledge about the right procedure and the use of reliable tools and software is absolutely necessary. If you don't know the source of the tools and software or there is no experience with the products of the unknown source don't take the risk. I have a Nokia 6 and the data I have loaded the internal memory of my phone with is about 6.63 GB. The total amount of data on my Phone is 9.1 GB. So about 2.5 GB contain data, which is mainly not visible on my PC, and of course the also invisible firmware. ROMS with the size of 1.5 - 2 GB are quite normal. What is the most reliable source of ROMS and flashtools in our case? HMD Global!!! In the Nokia era of Symbian 3, Anne and Belle all the ROMS were available and free to use. I never have had any problems using them. The best protection HMD Global can offer, is to make the TA ROMS and flashtools available. However, the actual policy of HMD in the case of flashing is very restricted. Yesterday I requested HMD to flash my Chinese TA-1000 Nokia 6 with the original stock TA-1000 ROM. HMD refused. I don't want to blame HMD for the wrong decision I made, buying the Phone in the first place, What hurts is that my favorite Phone manufacturer let me down, while HMD must have the means and the capability. Now I have to figure it out myself and I will.
My best experience on that matter,as a customer, was with Xperia from Sony: Always I had the Original Tools and Original firmwares ,so I had the feeling that no matter what hapen to my phone I was always capable to make a software repair. It's the feeling that You are the Owner of a product you buyed with your money and you fully enjoy using it.Thank you again, hoping for the best !
Hi user341, the Nokia 6 model TA-1000 is originally for the PRC (Chinese) market and in the PRC Google services are not allowed. HMD has never made a Nokia 6 TA-1000 with Google services. If a Nokia 6 TA-1000 nevertheless has Google services that Nokia 6 has a modified software/firmware, making the Phone a so called custom Phone and customized phones will not receive updates. I'm sorry. In order to prevent Chinese customers from flashing their phones with software, which contains Google services, HMD has made the bootloader locked, which cannot be unlocked without the proper software. Any HMD (Nokia) Phone has that non-unlockable bootloader, because these phones are partly already prepared for the PRC market. The reseller of your Nokia 6 TA-1000 has found a trick to load the software with Google services and multi languages. How? I don't know. Now it is easy to understand, why we will never find flash tools and firmware or Roms on the internet. We are treated just like the Chinese customers. HMD forbids us to flash our phones regardless the (Nokia) model. The only advise I have, is to return your Phone to the reseller and ask your money back, if you are protected by legal customers provisions.
